Dearborn accountant tapped to work with IRS committee

Karl L. Fava, founder and president of Dearborn-based Business Financial Consultants, Inc., has been appointed to the IRS Advocacy & Relations Committee of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

The AICPA is the national professional association of CPAs, with more than 360,000 members.

Fava, a licensed certified public accountant in Michigan, New York and California, has been involved at the national level with the AICPA for many years.

Fava’s most recent assignment was the Individual Income Tax Technical Resource Panel. In his new role with the IRS Advocacy & Relations Committee, he will work with other CPAs from across the country to liaison with the IRS to improve the current tax administration system for the benefit of the public, AICPA members, clients and the government.  Read full article…………………………..
