A local bicyclist has given a helping hand to a charity assisting those with disabilities.
Dearborn resident Karl Fava donated $2,000 to the Program to Educate All Cyclists to help purchase two tandem bicycles for use in the cycling programs and family rides.
PEAC is charitable not-for-profit organization that empowers individuals with disabilities through cycling.
The organization looks to bicycling and alternative modes of transportation as an integral role in increasing community access, fostering social involvement, self-esteem, and promoting healthy lifestyles among individuals with disabilities. Read full article…………………………
